SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos VIII Epiphanes (Grypos), 121/0-97/6 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 16.17 g, 12 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, 109-9. Diademed head of Antiochos VIII to right. Rev. [B]AΣIΛE[ΩΣ] / ANTIOXOY - EΠIΦANOYΣ Zeus seated left, holding Nike in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, monogram of PE above A; below throne, monogram; all within laurel wreath. HGC 9, 1200. SC 2309.2c. Beautiful old collection toning. A few deposits on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
